TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of technical procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other interventional radiology procedures.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and imaging systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, radiologists, and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Catheterization Laboratory setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
