Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Cleveland Clinic's Euclid Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a RN in our ICU, you will provide high-quality patient care to adult to mature adult patients with major medical, cardiac, and surgical diagnoses.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the ICU
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans
  • Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs
  • Educate patients and their families
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • One year of current acute care RN experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon or within one year of hire
Physical Requirements:

This role requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. You will also need to stand and walk for extended periods of time, and work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.

Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids is also a requirement of this role.

Personal Protective Equipment:

You will be required to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as needed.
