Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Local Delivery Driver to join our team at FreshPoint a Sysco Company. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering fresh produce to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Delivery: Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination to deliver fresh produce to customers in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all deliveries are made in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure that all products are delivered in a timely manner and that customers receive the correct quantities.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • CDL A License: Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience as a CDL A driver, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
