About the Role

As a Data Scientist III, you will conduct statistical analysis and build predictive models for a variety of performance outcomes. The incumbent will have a firm understanding of data mining, statistical methods, and multiple modeling scoring techniques.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, merge, and parse large amounts of data to detect meaningful trends and patterns.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Interpret, document, and successfully communicate analytic work and/or results to stakeholders, including those in non-analytic roles.
  • Analyze and mine large amounts of data using multiple analytic stacks such as R, Python, SAS, SQL etc.
  • Create and provide analysis code and work with internal or external stakeholders to validate accuracy of production scoring code.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • HAVE MINIMUM UNDERGRADUATE IN RELEVANT FIELD AND 4+ RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE OR A MASTER IN A RELEVANT FIELD AND 2+ OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE.
  • Have knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies and in particular exposure to SAS or similar software package.
  • Have fluency with presentation and document programs such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
  • Have experience working with Big Data Technologies and applying large scale Machine Learning techniques within these technologies.
  • Have experience in building predictive models using Python, R or similar software package.

The Salary Range

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Minnesota: $75,700 - $126,100.
