Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects within the Engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement water resource management plans and projects focusing on water sustainability, surface water conveyance, and aquifer studies.
  • Conduct detailed hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.
  • Utilize advanced techniques and tools for modeling and data interpretation to evaluate the impact of projects on water resources.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, scientists, and project managers to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing water resource infrastructure.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the field of water resource engineering.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to water resource management.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in water resource engineering, with a focus on water sustainability studies, surface water conveyance, and aquifer studies.
  • Strong technical writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
  • Proficiency in using software for hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and data interpretation.
  • Certified Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field of water resource engineering.
