Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified School-Based Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students by enhancing their physical well-being, improving mobility, and supporting overall development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Service Delivery: Provide physical therapy services to students in IU preschool classrooms and early childhood centers.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' physical therapy needs and develop individualized plans.
  • Intervention and Treatment: Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to address students' challenges, improve motor skills, and enhance overall functional abilities.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • License: Valid PA state license to practice physical therapy.
  • Experience: Previous experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a school-based environment and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
