Job Title: Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing internal and public-facing web applications, APIs, automation packages, and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop internal business applications using the.NET stack with SQL back-end.
  • Develop internal and external APIs and service layer architectures using.NET, EF Core Power Tools, Automapper, and adhering to microservices best practices.
  • Develop system-to-system integrations using ActiveBatch, Mapforce, API calls, and T-SQL.
  • Upgrade and re-factor legacy web applications to the latest framework and tools within the.NET stack.
  • Perform defect/bug isolation and remediation for production support issues escalated to the development team.
  • Work cross-functionally with business analysts, technical analysts, UI designers, and other technical and non-technical staff to deliver software solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Neighborhood's operations.
  • Perform code reviews, participate in retrospectives, and help facilitate and improve the software delivery process through innovation.
  • Identify new technologies, technological improvements to include in the application to improve usability, stability, and maintainability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field or sufficient work experience to equate to the degree.
  • Three (3)+ years' of.NET web application development using C#.
  • Three (3)+ years' of front-end development, using HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript.
  • Three (3) + years' of T-SQL development including basic SQL administration and schema creation.
  • Three (3) + years' of Entity Framework.
  • Three (3) + years' of API development, both creating and consuming APIs.
  • Experience isolating and resolving defects/bugs in a complex environment.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with work decomposition and Kanban techniques, working from epics, stories, and tasks managed in a project management tool such as DevOps and JIRA.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in.NET Core, MVC, Blazor, and exposure to older frameworks including Ajaxified Web Forms.
  • Experience with EF Core Power Tools and AutoMapper.
  • Experience using Telerik controls/components.
  • Experience using ActiveBatch, Mapforce, or other automation and data mapping tools.
  • Experience with microservices architectures, N-Tier, and service-oriented design.
  • Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
  • Experience with Azure API Gateway configuration.
  • Experience writing Functional and Technical specifications.
  • Experience working in a controlled environment, adhering to SOD and working cross-functionally with infrastructure teams to promote changes and resolve system issues.
