We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at McLaren USA. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas, consistent with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain patient history, explain standard procedures, and address patient concerns to foster a sense of comfort and confidence in patients.
- Operate and maintain all assigned imaging department equipment, including tomography scanner equipment.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly to capture the requested images.
- Properly identify, prepare, and/or administer medications within the technologist's scope of practice, as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner.
- Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety to reduce exposure to patients, staff, and self.
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified as CT Technologist
- If not CT Certified, cross-training from another ARRT modality to become CT Certified within twelve (12) months
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiology technology
- Certified in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Current BLS certification
- Associate degree in radiology
- Certified as CT Technologist
