Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our team at Jobs for Humanity. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods, services, and information from raw materials to end customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the procurement team in change board meetings to discuss supply chain impact and coordinate bidding with purchasing and procurement.
  • Monitor reports and metrics on inventory, analyze results, and implement action plans with procurement and purchasing.
  • Implement concepts, methodologies, and operations management of supply chain using CPIM best practices to guide procurement strategy and forecasting.
  • Represent the procurement team on development plateaus for new aircraft development and assist in managing and defining early industrialization plans.
  • Manage the discontinued notification process and other procurement processes.
  • Responsible for creating, preparing, distributing, and maintaining ad hoc inventory and custom reports.
  • Review and approve procurement plans and forecasts to suppliers.
  • Write and maintain ISO processes and written instructions to document activity.
  • Process development and communications to improve information flow to procurement.
  • Perform, analyze, and publish root cause analysis.
  • Work with procurement, purchasing, Dassault Aviation Completion Programs, and vendors to forecast and stock depletion of removed items identified in change documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Aviation Technology, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • Two years' experience in materials and purchasing, supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or related area.
  • Ability to learn and understand technical information contained in drawings, change sheets, and technical documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of master scheduling and forecasting.
  • Ability to communicate in a highly technical environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MRP, purchasing software, and inventory systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of industrial operations/administration in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in French.
  • Create reports in Microsoft Access.
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain and/or Logistics.
  • Ability to program in SQL, Visual Basic, or other language.
  • Ability to solve complex supply chain problems with computer programming.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management systems, ability to calculate expected usage and cost.
  • Passed Certified in Production and Inventory Management Part 1 Exam.
  • Proficiency in utilizing computerized engineering software, such as CATIA DMU Navigator.
