About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dermatology Physician Assistant to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients with various dermatological conditions, including skin cancers, acne, and other skin-related disorders.
  • Perform routine examinations, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including dermatologists, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or eligibility for certification.
  • Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a dermatology setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
