About This Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team at Security Industry Specialists. As a Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, their associates, and facility personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, associates, and facility personnel
  • Patrol assigned areas on foot or mobile vehicle to maintain visibility and detect potential security threats
  • Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger clients, associates, or public safety
  • Ensure daily administrative documentation is accurate and complete, and maintain all assigned equipment in good condition
  • Respond to requests for assistance from supervisors or clients, complete various assignments, and submit reports as required
  • Investigate security-related accidents and incidents, interview witnesses, and gather physical evidence for future use
  • Ensure all employees, suppliers, and visitors on company property have proper identification
  • Provide a safe and professional work environment for clients, associates, and facility personnel
  • Assist in crowd control and emergency response situations, and maintain control at traffic accidents
Additional Responsibilities
  • Investigate security-related accidents and incidents
  • Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
  • Must have a California security license
  • Prior military or POST graduate experience is a plus
  • Some security experience in the private or public sector is required
  • Supervisory experience is a plus
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer skills
  • Professionalism in appearance, work ethic, and positive attitude
