We are seeking a Novice Nurse to join our team at Maxim Healthcare Services. As a Novice Nurse, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a home setting, working one-on-one with patients and developing your skills in direct patient care, vent/trach/g-tube management, and critical thinking.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or contracted services
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitor and document effectiveness of intervention and progress toward established goals
- Intervene as applicable to changes in condition and report such changes to appropriate supervisor and/or physician
- Document all physician collaboration/coordination of care in the medical record and communicate this information as needed
- Monitor the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment including universal precautions
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active LPN/LVN License
- Current CPR
- PPD or chest X-Ray if applicable
