Job Description

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Activities Coordinator to join our team at NHS Management Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

About the Role:

As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities for our residents. You will work closely with our Activities Director to create a stimulating program that promotes social interaction, physical activity, and cognitive stimulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver group activities, including games, arts and crafts, and exercise programs
  • Transport residents to and from activities, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Provide one-on-one support to residents who require assistance with daily activities
  • Record daily attendance and document resident responses to activities
  • Monitor resident grooming and assist with personal care as needed
  • Deliver mail and read letters to residents who require assistance
  • Assist residents with menu selections and ensure they have access to nutritionally balanced meals

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You must also be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is approximately $35,000 - $45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
