About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to join our Amazon EC2 Accelerated Computing team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering technology products and services that meet the needs of our customers.

Our team is responsible for building and operating products that are defining the experience and economics of smart applications. We are looking for a Product Manager who has a passion for developer-focused products, works backwards from customers, and moves fast to keep up with the quickly evolving market landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed and crisp business requirements for product specifications and service architecture
  • Engage with AWS customers, sales and business development teams to understand customer feedback and crisply understand their pain points
  • Work closely with engineering teams, design, and program management in an agile environment to deliver products to market
  • Manage prioritization and tradeoffs between customer experience, performance and operational support
  • Drive product launches, including working with public relations team, executives, finance, marketing, and legal stakeholders for your product
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
  • Define high-quality roadmaps based on team strategy and vision
  • Interface and partner with all levels of the AWS and Amazon business leadership
Requirements
  • BS degree in computer science or electrical engineering
  • 10+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
  • Experience delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment where priorities shift fast
  • Strong track record of delivering compelling products
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues simply and convincingly to a wide range of audiences
  • Strong leadership skills, with ability to prioritize well and drive focus and excellence within a strong, talented team
