Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our food services department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our residents and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals, following established policies and procedures.
• Prepare and deliver food and trays, wash dishes, and clean and sanitize the kitchen according to health standards.
• Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Possess a positive attitude, with the ability to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Specialized training in food service is desirable. Current ServSafe certification is required by State/County law. Food Handler's card is also required.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products, and live in the service area.
