We are seeking a professional and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at our Glendale, Arizona Primary Care clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to patients and their families, working alongside doctors, nurses, and other clinical personnel to ensure a smooth clinic experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Room patients and take vitals, reviewing patient history as needed
  • Prepare and clean rooms for patients, ensuring they are ready for the physician encounter
  • Perform various office-based testing and treatments under the supervision of a clinician
  • Coordinate and manage patient care, including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions, and scheduling of patients for clinic, hospital, and other ancillary medical treatments and tests
  • Resolve patient concerns promptly and efficiently
Requirements:
  • At least 1-3 years' experience as a Medical Assistant, with bilingual skills a strong preference
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft (Word and Excel), with EMR (Athena) experience a plus
  • High School Diploma or GED, with completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited school or passage of the Medical Assistant certification
