Position Overview- Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
- Discipline: RN
- Employment Type: Travel
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
The ideal candidate will possess skills in IV insertion, chest tube management, DHT insertion/management, and tracheostomy care. Experience with CVC management, EKG, and Foley management is also essential, along with a focus on early patient mobility.
Key Procedures: The unit performs various procedures including Foley placement, IV insertion, wound vac management, DKA management, EKGs, DHT/NG placement, patient ambulation, and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Required Certifications: Candidates must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
