Surgical Care Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Care Coordinator to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring patient care plans, ensuring seamless coordination of care across all disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure effective care delivery
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure well-coordinated patient care
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of two years of current RN or Surgical experience
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
- Active unencumbered RN Indiana state license
- One year of Epic experience
Skills and Abilities
- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of medical terminology
