Your Role:
As a Lighting Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Loading in band and rental equipment.
- Setting up and dismantling event equipment.
- Adjusting focus and lighting according to artist or event specifications.
- Operating and programming spotlight controls and lighting boards.
- Maintaining and repairing lighting equipment.
- Assisting with production needs throughout the venue.
- Meeting artist and event A/V requirements.
- Ensuring safe and consistent lighting operations.
- Collaborating with artist representatives on technical requirements.
- Safeguarding all company and rental lighting and A/V equipment.
- Interacting with visiting production teams to ensure successful events.
- Creating or distributing lighting plot plans.
- Overseeing lighting systems throughout events.
- Scheduling and fulfilling special event lighting needs.
- Assisting audio crews with equipment setup.
- Supporting any special event operations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Tour or Stage Production.
- Proficiency in stage lighting, professional audio systems, and basic video systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong skills in Microsoft applications.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational abilities.
- High School Diploma.
Preferred:
- College Degree.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Work in environments with moderate to loud noise levels, extreme lighting changes, and moving lights.
- Capable of wearing a radio earpiece during shifts.
