Job Summary

At Delta Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient interviews, measure vital signs, and record information on patient charts.
• Assist physicians, nurses, and other medical staff with administrative and clinical duties.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories and test results.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures as needed.
• Conduct specified testing and schedule patients for tests as required.
• Administer injections and medications, dress wounds, and perform blood draws as needed.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Current Certification as a Medical Assistant required upon hire or obtained within 18 months from date of hire.
• Previous experience in the same or similar position preferred.
• BLS Certification Required.
