Occupational Therapist - Functional Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy.

Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy, you will play a critical role in evaluating patients' strengths and weaknesses, creating effective treatment plans to enhance functional independence and recovery. This position requires maintaining patient confidentiality, effective communication, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

  • Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to improve their quality of life.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Implement evidence-based practices and modalities to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, create detailed treatment plans, and document patient progress.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) certification.
  • Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in NY, NJ, or other relevant states.
  • Valid CPR License.
  • Experience/knowledge with EMR software preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills.
  • Minimum 1+ year(s) professional OT experience.
