Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is actively seeking several Emergency Department Nurses to provide essential support within a healthcare system. Nurses may also be tasked with delivering services at various outpatient facilities. A variety of shift schedules are available, and any assigned schedule may be subject to modification based on operational needs.

Ansible is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) dedicated to offering comprehensive solutions to federal clients across multiple sectors, including healthcare and national security. Our team comprises dedicated professionals who prioritize the success of our clients as if it were their own.

Key Responsibilities

The Emergency Department RN will deliver services in accordance with the established protocols of the healthcare system. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Accountability for all aspects of the nursing process while providing and/or overseeing direct patient care
  • Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care tailored to age-specific needs
  • Coordination of care to ensure smooth patient transitions through the continuum of care, including education for patients and families, self-management post-discharge, and factors influencing patient satisfaction
  • Consideration of individual characteristics such as age, health status, cultural background, values, and prior experiences
  • Administration of medications and procedures in line with established guidelines
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to influence care outcomes
  • Effective communication with individuals from diverse educational and ethnic backgrounds
  • Teamwork and cooperation in all assignments
  • Participation in quality improvement initiatives and customer service programs at the unit or program level

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse academic program (BSN or ADN)
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in at least one state or territory of the United States
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • A minimum of three years of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting is required
  • No sponsorship is available

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach overhead during the work shift
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Capacity to carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Ability to push/pull with a force of 30 lbs
