Position Overview
The Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for performing essential custodial tasks to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities. This role is vital in maintaining a pristine environment for guests and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas, including restrooms, meeting rooms, and offices.
2. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
3. Ensure proper sanitation by disinfecting surfaces and removing trash.
4. Operate specialized cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners.
5. Assist in overseeing cleaning operations during events and ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.

Competencies Required
- Customer Service: Ability to manage customer interactions effectively and respond to needs promptly.
- Dependability: Consistently reliable in attendance and punctuality, ensuring responsibilities are met.
- Safety Awareness: Adherence to safety protocols and reporting of unsafe conditions.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0 to 1 year of experience in custodial services preferred.
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
