Job Summary

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the surgical operating suite with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
  • Pass instruments to physicians during surgery and maintain accurate counts of instruments and supplies.
  • Receive and process specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration and Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification required.
  • Minimum 6 months of surgical tech experience or graduation from an accredited surgical tech program.
