Anesthesiology Vice Chief Physician

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our leadership team as Vice Chief Physician. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with our Facility Medical Director and APP leadership to drive excellence in patient care and operational management.
Responsibilities- Assure the highest standards of healthcare delivery and outcomes
- Maintain an environment that supports employee satisfaction and retention
- Represent the Anesthesia department as a true, collaborative partner within the organization
- 10 Anesthesiologists (3 CV and 7 General) and 22 CRNAs covering 12 ORs plus EP Lab, Cath Lab, and Endo
- Supervision of CRNAs 1:4 with 24/7 coverage
- Diverse mix of highly complex cases including Trauma, Cardiac, heavy Ortho, Endo, Neuro, Spine, Vascular, Bariatric, Robotics, etc.
- Average surgical volume of 9000 cases annually
- Block proficiency required
- Willingness to teach appreciated
- Excellent compensation to include Vice Chief Leadership Stipend
- Annual Trauma and Geographic stipend
- $50K Start Date Bonus and Relocation assistance available
- Additional compensation if Physician chooses to pick up an extra shift
- 10 weeks PTO and $5K CME annually
