As a Primary Care Physician at Neuehealth, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our community. Our Value-Based Care model allows you to focus on providing exceptional medical services without the burden of chasing RVUs for compensation. This means you can devote more time to each patient, reducing your administrative workload and improving your work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Comprehensive Medical Care
- Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients to understand their medical history, health goals, and potential health risks.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, ordering lab tests and imaging studies as needed.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and other care plans to maintain health or alleviate symptoms of disease or injury.
- Coordinate Patient Care
- Communicate effectively with specialists to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary for further diagnosis or treatment.
- Lead a Team
- Supervise nurse practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Stay Up-to-Date
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
Requirements
- Education
- Earn a medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Complete a four-year undergraduate program in a science-related field.
- Certifications & Licenses
- Hold a state license to practice medicine in Texas.
