Mold Setup Technician

About the Role:

A Mold Setup Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of injection presses by performing mold maintenance and installation tasks. This role requires a strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and store molds in a clean and organized manner
  • Install and remove molds from injection presses
  • Troubleshoot process issues and perform preventive maintenance tasks
  • Work collaboratively with the manufacturing team to ensure efficient production

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with PLC, Pnuematic, and Molding systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for 8 hours at a time
  • Steel toe shoes required
