As the primary leader for the pharmacy's technician team, you will oversee daily operations to ensure that our pharmacy meets the service commitments to our clients and their residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workflow Management: Ensure efficient execution of daily operations to guarantee accurate and timely medication dispensing, including Data Entry, Floor Production, and Automation Cycle Production.
- Staff Scheduling: Create and approve schedules for pharmacy technicians to align with pharmacy volume and operational needs.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and address pharmacy-related issues raised by customers or senior leadership.
- Staff Onboarding: Participate in the recruitment and training of pharmacy technicians, ensuring adherence to training standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with the General Manager and Pharmacist-in-Charge to ensure all pharmacy processes comply with company policies and state and federal regulations.
- Payroll and Labor Management: Work with administrative support to review and approve payroll reports, ensuring productivity and labor costs align with the pharmacy budget.
- Production Support: Assist in prescription production as necessary based on volume demands.
- Special Projects: Engage in various special assignments as required.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with other departments and leadership to align on priorities and support.
Qualifications:
- Nationally Licensed Pharmacy Technician
- Minimum of 5 years in pharmacy leadership, with a strong preference for candidates with Long-Term-Care pharmacy experience.
- Preference for candidates with Framework LTC experience and knowledge.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with various levels of leadership.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying workflow vulnerabilities and implementing solutions.
- Proven project management skills to oversee initiatives and team operations.
- Commitment to quality, compliance, and patient safety.
