Develop and Implement Patient Care Plans

Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members. Administer treatments, medications, and procedures as needed to ensure effective patient care.

Monitor and Evaluate Patient Progress

Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, interpreting diagnostic test results, such as ECGs and lab work. Adjust treatment plans as required to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Collaborate with Healthcare Team Members

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. Maintain clear and accurate patient records to support high-quality care.

Provide Education and Guidance

Provide guidance and education to patients and their families regarding their condition, treatment plans, and aftercare. Ensure patients and families are empowered to make informed decisions about their care.

Manage Emergency Situations

Participate in managing emergency situations, including code blue responses and life-saving interventions. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and adherence to best practices.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Current Nurse Practitioner License in VA
  • Current AHA BLS Card
  • Strong Clinical Assessment and Diagnostic Skills
  • Excellent Communication and Teamwork Abilities
