About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency and Critical Care team at Capital District Veterinary Referral Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Expertly triage incoming patients and provide top-notch client support throughout their visit.
  • Collaborate closely with DVMs in patient assessment, diagnostics, and treatment procedures.
  • Proficiently handle laboratory samples and utilize advanced imaging modalities for patient evaluation.
  • Safely execute, monitor, and oversee anesthetic events to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
  • State of New York Licensed Veterinary Technician (seasoned pro or recent graduate) dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care.
  • Strong experience with in-patient care, in-house laboratory operation, venipuncture, and radiology.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
