Job Summary

HealthSmart Pro Inc is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team on a 13-week contract basis. As a Travel Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for preparing examination rooms, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals for clear, usable images, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Enter commands and data into the computer for scan sequences, adjust density or contrast, and monitor video displays to optimize image quality.
  • Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring safety and minimizing radiation exposure, and report any concerns to the physician.
  • Produce diagnostic images, report findings to the physician, and update patient records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Organize daily procedure schedules, manage radiographic supplies, and perform administrative tasks to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and minimizing downtime.
Requirements
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required for this position.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Radiology Technician is preferred.
