**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team in the United States. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global company specializing in rare diseases, focusing on hematology and oncology.

**Job Overview**

The Medical Science Liaison will serve as a scientific expert, engaging healthcare professionals and exchanging knowledge on clinical, scientific, and research topics. Following regulatory guidelines, they will build relationships with the medical community, facilitating educational support for Sobi's rare disease portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Interact with key thought leaders and healthcare professionals in the Great Lakes Region (Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee)
  • Exchange scientific information accurately, fairly, and balanced with external parties
  • Report field intelligence on competitive information, disease states, and treatment landscapes to Sobi
  • Provide support to Sobi's clinical development and operations teams through site recommendations, visits, and communication facilitation
  • Participate in advisory board meetings at local, regional, and national levels
  • Represent Sobi at medical conferences and provide session summaries

**Requirements**

  • Accredited doctorate degree in a life-science or basic-science discipline (Pharm.D., D.Sc., D.N.P., Ph.D., or M.D./D.O.)
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific information
  • A minimum of 1 year of MSL experience in therapeutic hematology/oncology
  • Demonstrated success managing internal/external stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams

**Benefits and Salary**

This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on experience and location. In addition, you will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD insurance, and a 401(k) plan with a competitive match.
