Deli Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deli Associate to join our team at The GIANT Company. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized deli area, and ensuring that all products are properly prepared and presented.

• Provide quality customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and promoting products through suggestive selling.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, and package products.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions, including coding, rotating, organizing cases of product, and cleaning.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to the deli area.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions, including sweeping and mopping.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

This position requires standing for 55% of the shift, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail.
