Job Title: Travel Radiology Technologist

Job Summary:

Uniti Med is seeking a skilled Travel Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Travel Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including adjusting equipment settings and using image processing software
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, exam results, and equipment maintenance

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a radiology department
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for long periods
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
