Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and assess monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies, and procedures
  • Establish and track key performance indicators, benchmarking processes, and financial metrics
  • Deliver customized reporting and create systems for data analysis to facilitate strategic decision-making
  • Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Collaborate with the inventory management team to enhance processes and reporting
  • Engage with external tax consultants and other stakeholders
  • Implement and sustain financial systems, controls, and processes

Required Qualifications

  • Possesses a robust background in accounting, finance, and business intelligence, complemented by exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally within a manufacturing or retail context
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Microsoft Access Databases and advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and analytical practices
  • Experience in developing and tracking key performance indicators and financial metrics
  • Ability to provide customized reporting and data analysis using various tools and methodologies
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management principles
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
