Position Summary:

The Equipment Operator role involves the operation of powered machinery for maintaining golf course putting greens, collars, approaches, and tees. This includes the use of lawnmowers and tractor-drawn mowers for the upkeep of various golf course sections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comply with all established operational standards, policies, procedures, and instructions that define the essential functions of the role.
  • Maintain golf courses by adjusting pin placements, tee markers, removing debris, and ensuring the course is visually appealing on a daily basis.
  • Utilize appropriate equipment for mowing greens, tees, slopes, collars, roughs, and fairways.
  • Prepare sand bunkers for daily play using the correct tools and methods.
  • Clean, refuel (if necessary), and store all equipment properly after use.
  • Support fellow staff members as needed to facilitate the timely completion of tasks.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of safe and effective operation of motorized equipment.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in golf course maintenance.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
