About the Position:

As a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, assessing and planning individualized care to ensure the best possible outcomes. You will communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and make informed decisions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients and families.
  • Document patient care and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current state Registered Nurse license.
  • Certification in Neonatal IV Therapy within six months after hire.
  • Basic neonatal cardiac monitoring within six months after hire.
  • Certifications as indicated by the Steward Certification document.
  • Complete NICU orientation course.
  • Certification in S.T.A.B.L.E. within 6 months of hire.
  • Acquire 10 Neonatal Specific CEU's a year.
