As a Senior Electrical Engineer on the Vehicle Integration Team, you will be instrumental in advancing Ample's next-generation Vehicle Integration System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement essential features through the complete cycle of design, verification, and validation.
  • Establish critical hardware specifications to support various vehicle platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to launch new products and rapidly update designs.
  • Engage with automotive manufacturer partners for system integration and compliance.
  • Play a significant role in hardware support for mass production and field deployment.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent.
  • Minimum of a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
  • Team-oriented with exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proven experience in hardware development of embedded systems with standard communication protocols (e.g., CAN / SPI / I2C / Serial).
  • Strong understanding of the physics of common analog/digital electrical systems, including sensors and motors.
  • Ability to rapidly prototype solutions.
  • Willingness to work in a hands-on environment building electrical systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC best practices.
  • Experience with scaling production.
  • Familiarity with functional safety (ISO26262) or general safety analysis.
  • Experience with high-voltage battery systems.
