Job Scope

Our innovative and growing company is looking for a Senior Indirect Procurement Analyst who will play a crucial role in optimizing the procurement process for indirect goods and services. This position involves analyzing and strategizing procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, and implementing cost-saving initiatives. The Senior Indirect Procurement Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, minimize risk, and achieve the organization's procurement goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect categories, such as IT, marketing, facilities, and professional services, to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Responsibility for creating/monitoring purchase orders on a daily basis, for Indirect spend.
  • Provides procurement support to ensure the availability of required indirect materials and services.
  • Notifies internal stakeholders whenever an existing shipment commitment is in jeopardy and recommends alternatives on how the requested demand could be satisfied. Expedites materials as required and handles rejections or other problems on purchased materials.
  • Manages the tactical business relationship between the supplier and Diasorin, and ensures that communications are clear and appropriate.
  • Conducts comprehensive analysis of indirect procurement data, including spend analysis, market trends, supplier performance, and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Business Partners to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance, quality, and competitive pricing.
  • Monitor and assess supplier performance, including conducting supplier evaluations, resolving issues, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assess external market trends and conditions to identify opportunities and risks in managed spend categories. Structure analysis of spend to enable informed decision-making. Ensure sourcing efforts leverage market intelligence, should-cost modeling, and TCO analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for procurement initiatives.
  • Identifies and implements process efficiencies and process improvements for the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree BS/BSE/BA level degree in business, engineering, science, logistics, or related discipline.
  • Masters degree in business, engineering, science, logistics, or related discipline, preferred
  • 5+ years Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing Strong interpersonal skills which provide the ability to establish and build working relationships with individuals throughout the organization
  • 3+ years Experience in a Buying role for Indirect commodities and/or Capex is preferred.
  • 5+ years Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • APICS/ISM/Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Experience using an ERP system in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office: Excel (Pivot tables & Vlookup), PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while dealing with sensitive and private information
  • Develop strong working relationships throughout the organization at all levels
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate, implement, and practice procurement policies and procedures to assure overall economic purchasing in the organization
  • Ability to assist in preparation, negotiation, and evaluation of formal procurement solicitations and contracts, including the ability to assess contract compliance
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
  • Able to coordinate effectively with employees and management
  • Ability to work under stress with tight deadlines while staying organized and focused to provide accurate information.
