Dermatopathologist Director

Rush University Medical Center, a leading academic and clinical institution, seeks a highly qualified individual to serve as the Director of the Dermatology Department. This esteemed position offers a unique opportunity to lead a team of ten full-time clinical faculty and five advanced practice providers (APPs) in a comprehensive dermatology program.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to join a dynamic department spanning the entire spectrum of dermatology subspecialties, including medical and procedural dermatology. The department serves a large, diverse patient population throughout the Chicagoland area, with six clinical locations in downtown Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
As a regional and national leader in healthcare, Rush has a robust referral network to support a thriving dermatopathology practice. The successful candidate will actively participate in the department's academic program, including teaching dermatology residents and medical students, and will have opportunities for clinical research.

The ideal candidate will have completed an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency and an ACGME-accredited dermatopathology fellowship. They will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong commitment to academic excellence and patient care.
