Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for collecting specimens from patients and clients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and laboratories. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect specimens from patients and clients according to established procedures and protocols.
Administer oral solutions to patients as needed.
Verify and confirm patient and client information, including demographic and medical history data.
Operate laboratory equipment, including centrifuges and microscopes.
Process and prepare specimens for transport to laboratories for analysis.

Requirements:

Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or certification preferred.
