We are seeking Board Certified Family Medicine/Urgent Care Physicians to explore the potential of our innovative Virtual Visit OnDemand Care Team. Atrium Health provides a cutting-edge virtual urgent care model designed to enhance accessibility, convenience, and quality of care for our patients.
This advanced virtual clinic allows healthcare delivery to occur wherever the patient may be, at a time that suits them, utilizing technology to provide urgent care services around the clock, every day of the year.
Position Highlights:
Work Schedule: 8AM - 8PM & 8AM - 4PM;
Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd Weekend
Our collaborative approach includes both Physician and APP care teams, offering flexible day and evening (overnight) shift options. The expected caseload is approximately 4 patients per hour through our virtual platform, which encompasses both video consultations and e-visits. The Virtual Clinic caters to traditional acute episodic care for patients of all ages.
Ideal Candidate:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred.
- Candidates must reside in NC, SC, or GA, despite the remote nature of the position.
- Willingness to supervise up to 7 APPs is essential.
- A passion for innovation and a strong virtual presence are crucial.
- Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think creatively.
