Lead SRE Application Architect

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. As a Lead SRE Application Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic expansion and modernization of our Clinical applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with technology groups and leadership in the clinical space to ensure the highest quality of architectural design and provide strategic input on technical design strategy for implementations.
  • Perform technical planning, architectural review of development specifications.
  • Assess the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications.
  • Provide technical guidance on the design of solutions.
  • Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
  • Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and work under minimal supervision.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 8 or more experience as a senior developer in large IT projects.
  • Prior project lead experience.
  • Extensive experience as an Architect in a large-scale enterprise environment, particularly in clinical or healthcare-related applications.
  • Deep understanding of architecture patterns, cloud solutions, and interoperable systems relevant to the healthcare industry.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Proven track record of leading technical design and driving architectural initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience within Humana's clinical environments.
  • Previous involvement in Humana's SRE activities.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
