Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and provide wound care as needed.
- Monitor patient vital signs, record progress, and communicate with the healthcare team.
- Participate in patient education and support to promote health literacy and self-management.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Texas State RN License.
- One year of experience in nursing, preferably in a critical care setting.
- CPR certification (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification within six months of hire.
- Unit-specific requirements, including NIHSS, EKG, and TNCC certifications as applicable.
The Nurse Specialist will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
