Principal Test Pilot

At Supernal, we're pushing the boundaries of human possibility with our cutting-edge Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) technology. As a key member of our Flight Test team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation.

• Conduct experimental flight tests in our eVTOL aircraft, ensuring safe and efficient operations
• Collaborate with flight test engineers to develop test plans, procedures, and documentation
• Develop and maintain flight manuals, operations, and checklists to ensure compliance with FAA regulations
• Lead and participate in safety reviews and flight readiness boards to guarantee the highest standards of safety
• Complete all required documentation and maintain flying currency and proficiency in multiple aircraft types

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field; Master's degree in flight test engineering or a related field preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years as an Experimental Test Pilot
• Graduate of a recognized Test Pilot School or equivalent level of experience
• FAA Class II Medical, Commercial Pilot License, and 1000+ hours of VTOL aircraft flight experience
• Experience with Risk Management, UAS certification, and standard flight test processes

• Competitive base pay: $247,900 - $316,600 USD
