The Role

We're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team as an Internal Nuclear QA Auditor. In this role, you'll lead and assist in performing independent internal audits of departments involved in nuclear safety, such as maintenance, operations, engineering, radiation protection, and selected other activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist audit teams in assessing quality programs of Fermi organizations and vendor facilities
  • Maintain Lead Auditor qualification (ANSI N45.2.23, 1978) and participate in peer evaluations at other utilities
  • Evaluate the quality of implementation of technical programs and provide recommendations for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or SRO license/certification plus 5 years nuclear experience, or completion of an Associate's Degree plus 7 years nuclear experience, or High School Diploma plus 9 years nuclear experience
  • Certified Lead Auditor qualification (ANSI N45.2.23, 1978)
  • Knowledge of 10CFR50 Appendix B requirements
