Nurse Manager Critical Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Critical Care department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the 24/7 operations of the Neuro/Trauma ICU/PCU, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee a department of nurses, ensuring they have the necessary resources to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Engage with the floor, communicating with nurses, patients, and families to understand their needs and concerns.
- Attend meetings with leadership to stay informed about new initiatives, budgetary status, and areas for improvement.
- Monitor attendance and productivity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Mentor and develop assistant nurse managers, charge nurses, and other team members to build their skills and confidence.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (required) or BSN (preferred)
- Three years' experience in critical care nursing, with clinical knowledge in the same or similar specialty
- Two years' experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role in the same or similar specialty
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and BLS certification
