We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites- East Greenbush Albany. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance services and repairs in various areas, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, HVAC, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventative maintenance tasks
- Check and operate exit/emergency lighting systems on a monthly basis
- Repair/replace and inspect drains, vents, and supply lines, valves, sinks, and toilet fixtures
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and replace faulty switches and receptacles
- Perform initial HVAC work order analysis and correct issue(s)
- Respond to calls for maintenance work as needed
- Complete snow removal when necessary
- Perform preventative maintenance items as directed
- Report issues and trouble spots for improvement
- Perform all HVAC preventative and predictive services
- Replace all bulbs and/or ballasts in common and guest area fixtures as found by daily inspections and reported by guests
- Complete miscellaneous repairs to flooring, ceilings, walls, etc.
Requirements:
- Full-time position with flexible pay based on experience/knowledge
