Key Responsibilities
  • Execute departmental inventory counts, processing, and sorting damaged or defective merchandise
  • Reduce salvage and obtain return authorizations from vendors
  • Work cross-functionally within departments to complete related inventory control responsibilities
  • Conduct daily club safety walks and ensure a safe and positive environment for members and team members
  • Understand and administer company community donation programs and manage salvage and donation merchandise orders
  • Review daily return reports, process merchandise recalls, and process tire and battery returns
  • Re-wrap sellable merchandise using proper seal and shrink-wrap packaging guidelines
  • Maintain all club policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Must successfully complete required training and certification processes
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
  • Basic math skills required
  • At least 18 years of age
Work Environment

The Inventory Control Specialist will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, frequently requiring bending, climbing, crawling, pulling, reaching, stooping, and climbing ladders/step stools. The position also requires frequent exposure to hazardous materials and occasional exposure to extreme temperatures in freezers and coolers.
