Job Summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for a variety of HR-related duties, including payroll, benefits, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies to promote a positive work environment and address employee concerns.
  • Collaborate with department heads and management to resolve conflicts and improve employee satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams to meet business objectives.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and recommend promotions or disciplinary actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in HR, payroll, or benefits administration.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in HR software, including Kronos and Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
